"Pickup was fine, but a little frustrating"
I ordered online for store pickup, and it was ready the same day, which was definitely nice. But this is where it got annoying: when I got to the store, nobody seemed to know where my order was. I ended up waiting around for a bit while they figured it out. The item itself was totally fine, so no complaints there, but the pickup process could’ve been smoother. Overall, average

"The staff seemed really knowledgeable"
I went on musicarts.com because I wasn’t totally sure what my kid needed for band class. The staff got back to me quickly and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. I got the feeling they’ve probably helped a lot of confused parents like me before, because they were patient and didn’t make me feel silly for asking basic questions. Super helpful experience overall

"Price seemed fair at first, but the fees caught me off guard"
The rental itself was decent and the base price felt reasonable. I was just a bit surprised by how quickly the extra fees added up, though to be fair, maybe I should’ve looked closer at the details beforehand. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just ended up costing more than I expected.

"Decent rental, but not the best value"
I rented a clarinet for my kid through Music & Arts, and overall it was fine. Pickup was straightforward, and the clarinet was in decent condition, so I didn’t have any real complaints about the instrument itself.
That said, the monthly cost felt a bit high once the fees were added in, and getting clear info about the return process took more effort than it should have. It wasn’t a bad experience, but for the price, I expected things to be a little smoother.

"Lessons took more effort than they were worth"
I signed up for guitar lessons hoping it would help me stay on track, but I didn’t get much out of it. The teacher was friendly, so I don’t want to be too harsh, but the lessons felt rushed and kind of thrown together. A few weeks we ended up going over the same basic stuff again, and I felt like I was doing more work trying to figure out what to practice than actually learning from the lesson. For the price, I expected more structure and guidance. It wasn’t terrible, but it also felt like more effort than it should’ve been, so I probably wouldn’t book again.

I ordered a few sets of guitar strings they showed up way sooner than I expected. The package looked fine too, no dents or anything weird. Happy with the whole thing!

"Good communication, but keep an eye on timing"
Overall, the communication was clear and I wasn’t left guessing. I got emails whenever my order moved to the next step, and support replied quickly when I had a question. There was one small delay, but they explained what was going on, so it wasn’t a big issue. Just a heads-up to others: don’t assume everything will be perfectly on schedule, but at least they do keep you informed.

I did end up getting my refund, so in the end everything was resolved. From my experience, though, it took a few more calls than I expected before it finally went through. Not a terrible experience, but I definitely had to stay on top of it.

I brought my guitar in hoping it would just be playable again, but they fixed it up way better than I expected. The repair was quick, and it plays great now.

"Easy enough ordering experience"
I ordered online because I figured it would be the simplest way to get it done, the whole process was smooth. Shipping did take a day longer than they originally said, but I wasn’t in a huge rush, so it wasn’t a big deal. Everything showed up in good shape, so overall I’m fine with how it went

"Updating my account was mostly painless"
I needed to change my billing info and look up an older order on musicarts.com, and it was straightforward. The account page was easy to follow, and I liked that the order details were laid out clearly, especially the little things like the date, order number, and shipping info all being where I expected them to be.
The only hiccup was that it logged me out once while I was clicking between pages, which was annoying because I had just gotten to the spot I needed. Still, I got everything done without having to call customer service or hunt through a bunch of menus, so I’d give it 4 stars...

I was expecting to find some random extra fee tucked in there, because that seems to happen a lot, but the charge was exactly what I expected. No weird add-ons or sneaky surprises, at least this time.

Just a quick heads-up for anyone shopping for clarinet reeds: I used musicarts.com to find a new reed pack, it was painless. The search worked the way it should, and the filters actually helped me narrow things down fast.
The site loaded quickly for me, and checkout didn’t turn into some drawn-out mess with a bunch of unnecessary steps. I also appreciated that the store pickup details were clear, because that’s the kind of thing that can get annoying if it’s buried or confusing.

Fair warning, a few pages do feel a little busy with a lot happening at once, so don’t be surprised by that. But overall, I found what I needed without much trouble and had a good experience

"Setup was fine, just took a bit longer than I hoped"
I brought my guitar in for a basic setup and a cleaning, nothing too major. The staff were friendly and walked me through what they were planning to do, so that part was good.

When I got it back, it definitely played better than before, so I can’t really complain too much. The only thing was the wait ended up being longer than they originally said, and I still had to mess with the action a little myself after, which was... not ideal.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just kind of average. I’d probably go back if I wasn’t in a rush, but if I needed something done quickly, maybe not

"Pretty much the best place for music gear deals"
I ordered a few things from Music & Arts the prices were better than I expected. It feels like every time you need music stuff, it’s usually overpriced everywhere, so this was a nice surprise. Shipping was totally fine too, nothing weird or delayed. Overall, I felt like I got good value for my money and really don’t have any complaints.

Ordered a guitar strap. Wrong size. Had to exchange it. Took a few days, nothing too crazy. Support was helpful and got it sorted. New one showed up fine. Good overall

"Support actually followed up"
Support checked back in with me and got my issue sorted out quickly, which was a nice surprise. Would’ve been great if it didn’t need fixing in the first place, but hey, at least they handled it.
